In addition to the work accomplishments of ISV's volunteers listed below; our presence in the country has motivated other organizations like the local Forest Reserve Network and Conservation International to form alliances that will further enable local conservation and sustainable development efforts.
In January 2008, ISV will host the first Ecuador Volunteer Project Workshop. A gathering of private landowners, NGO's, and other stakeholders designed to help small organizations and landowners develop volunteer programs, strengthen the components of existing projects, as well as share experiences and innovative ideas.
