DAY 1, Guatemala City/Antigua
Arrival at La Aurora Guatemala International Airport, where you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel in Antigua.

DAY 2, Antigua
Antigua is located 48 Kms from Guatemala city. Antigua is a colonial city full of architecture and history. A city that in 1979 was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The beautiful Agua, Fuego and Acatenango volcanoes are silent guardians of Antigua’s streets and buildings, which are full of history and legends. Visit the most important areas including the Great Plaza, Cathedral, San Francisco Church, La Merced Church, La Azotea Cultural Center, Coffee Plantations and Jade Factory

DAY 3, Panajachel
Transfer to Panajachel, located 100 Kms from Antigua. Panajachel is a village located on shores of Lake Atitlán, considered one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. Here you will have an incredible view of three volcanoes: Tolimán, San Pedro and Atitlán. Enjoy a boat trip across the beautiful Lake Atitlán and visit Santiago, where you will learn about the culture of the local people, famous for its women weavers and their typical clothes.

DAY 4, Chichicastenango / Guatemala City
If Day 4 is a Thursday or Sunday, transfer from the hotel to Chichicastenango, located 40 Kms from Atitlán. In Chichicastenango you will visit the most colourful indigenous open-air market in the country and witness religious rituals in Santo Tomas Church, which has a splendid colonial architecture built in 1540. In the afternoon transfer to Guatemala City.

If today is not a Thursday or Sunday, you will be taken directly from Lake Atitlan to your hotel in Guatemala City, where you will have more time to explore Guatemala capital city.

DAY 5, Guatemala City
Transfer from hotel to airport for departure.
