A rough idea of what these meals will consist of is: breakfast - cereals or coffee and toast or the occasional fried breakfast; lunch - cheese, cold meats, salads on bread or rolls; dinner - braais (local barbecue), potjies (stews), stir fries etc. Eating is a big part of traveling. On any BrilliantTrip you will experience the vast array of wonderful food that is available in the world. Generally, meals are not included in the trip price when there is a choice of eating options, in order to give you the maximum flexibility in deciding where, what and with whom to eat. It also gives you more budgeting flexibility, though generally food is cheap. The groups tend to eat together to enable you to taste a larger variety of dishes and enjoy each other's company. There is no obligation to do this though. Your group leader will be able to suggest favorite restaurants during your trip.

Also see our FAQs and Travel Info. IT'S YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO HAVE THE CORRECT TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION.
IMPORTANT NOTES
1. A valid passport and visas are required for entry into Swaziland and re-entry into South Africa.
2. This is not a physically demanding journey. However, traveling can be difficult, with long drives and poor road conditions at times. Despite this, most clients feel that the diversity of the African landscape, countries, culture and wildlife are all well worth the experience. The group uses a comfortable and safe customized safari truck for the long drives.
3. A Yellow Fever certificate may be required if you are traveling to South Africa from a Yellow Fever endemic country.
TOUR LEADERSHIP
Group Leader, driver, local guides. The aim of the group leader is to take the hassle out of your travels and to help you have the best trip possible. They will provide information on the places you are traveling through, offer suggestions for things to do and see, recommend great local eating venues and introduce you to local friends. While not being guides in the traditional sense, you can expect them to have a broad knowledge of the countries visited on the trip, including historical, cultural, religious and social aspects. Group leaders use local guides where they think more specific knowledge will add to the enjoyment of the places you are visiting. It's the best of both worlds.

activity prices are subject to change and can fluctuate in relation
