BOOKING FEES

BrilliantTrips charges a 5USD booking fee for airfare bookings only. No other booking fees are charged on any other products.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

It is MANDATORY to purchase travel insurance with each booking. You must purchase our comprehensive travel insurance to complete your trip booking. This insurance includes coverage for medical and repatriation expenses, personal accident, personal baggage, trip delay & and some cancellation. Insurance coverage offered by credit card companies or reciprocal medical cover agreements are not comprehensive enough for the adventure programs. Your travel insurance will be issued by us at time of payment.

PAYMENT

We accept Visa or MasterCard as valid forms of payment for bookings made through the web site. To make a wire transfer please contact us directly.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, wire transfers and money orders as forms of payment. We accept only postal money orders denominated in U.S. dollars and drawn from a U.S. bank.

CANCELLATIONS

If you wish to cancel your booking you must advise BrilliantTrips in writing (email is best). Cancellation will occur on the day your written request is received. All cancellations will be subject to the terms and conditions of the travel supplier. Where refundable, travel supplier cancellation fees usually vary depending upon the number of days prior to your departure date the cancellation is made. In most cases, if a trip is cancelled less than six weeks prior to departure it is non refundable. In addition to any charges directly from the travel supplier, BrilliantTrips will charge a cancellation fee of $150.

CHANGING YOUR TRIP

If you wish to change your booking you must advise BrilliantTrips in writing (email is best). All changes after the booking is paid in full will be subject to the terms and conditions of the travel supplier. Generally, any changes made less than six weeks prior to departure are considered a cancellation. In addition to any charges directly from the travel supplier, BrilliantTrips will charge a change fee of $75.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION

Please ensure you carefully read over your confirmation invoice, vouchers, tickets and all other documents we send to you as soon as you receive them, and contact us immediately, if any information appears to be incorrect. We regret that we cannot accept any liability if we are not notified of any inaccuracy in any document within 14 days of us sending them to you. While we will do our best to rectify any changes made outside this time, it is your responsibility for any additional costs which may be involved, except in the case of an error made by BrilliantTrips and where there is an acceptable reason for you not contacting us within the specified time.

All countries require a valid passport (with minimum 6 months validity). The visa requirements for your trip vary depending on where you go or where you're from; citizens of the U.S. can visit www.travel.state.gov/visa. It is important that you check for yourself. Also see our FAQs. IT'S YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO HAVE THE CORRECT TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION. Losses caused by inaccurate information are the sole responsibility of the traveler.

BrilliantTrips offers travel related services provided by third party travel suppliers. We have no control over these travel suppliers or their actions. Separate terms and conditions apply to your trip as required by these travel service suppliers.

CANCELLATION OR MODIFICATION BY THE SUPPLIER

Every effort will be made to operate all trips as advertised, but it must be remembered that trips are planned up to twelve months in advance. Suppliers, therefore, reserve the right, at their discretion, to modify or cancel any trip, flight schedule, accommodation or arrangement at any time outside six weeks before departure. We will notify you as soon as possible of any changes and, if you accept them, they form part of the contract. In the case of any material modification or cancellation, the supplier will, if possible, offer alternate arrangements, or if these are not acceptable, a full refund of the monies paid for your trip by the supplier.

HEALTH & MEDICAL CONDITIONS

If you, or any member of your party have a medical condition or disability which may affect your trip, we ask that you please tell us before you confirm your trip booking so we are able to advise as to the suitability of your chosen arrangements. In any event, you must provide us with full details in writing at the time of booking. If we reasonably feel we, or the supplier, are unable to properly accommodate the particular needs of the person concerned, we reserve the right to decline the booking or ask for the person to be accompanied by a person who is able to provide full assistance to them throughout their tour.
